Experience Rochester | COVID-19 and the Brain

Featuring: John J. Foxe, PhDKilian J. and Caroline F. Schmitt Chair in Neuroscience &  Director of the Del Monte Institute for Neuroscience | Steven M. Silverstein, PhD, George L. Engel Professor of Psychiatry & Associate Chair for Research, Psychiatry Department

Professors Foxe and Silverstein will talk about emerging evidence regarding the direct effect of the COVID-19 virus on the brain in healthy and vulnerable populations, and the indirect effect of the COVID-19 virus on the psychological health of the community.

Introducing Experience Rochester, a new series of events created to bring the very best of Rochester directly to you. This special series exemplifies the University of Rochester’s commitment to lifelong learning.
