Ceramics, glass, jewelry, metal, leather, wood, wearable art … The Gallery Council’s 18th Annual Fine Craft Show & Sale features one-of-a-kind, limited-edition work by master craftsmen and artists. The Fine Craft Show and Sale showcase the highest standard of craft art in America with forty juried master craft artists who regularly participate in the nation’s most prestigious shows. The Show and Sale tickets are $10. See Monet's Waterloo Bridge: Vision and Process for an additional $5.
Also, see work by RIT School of American Craft Honors Students. The beauty and precision of hand-crafted art is the cornerstone of RIT’s School for American Crafts. This close-knit community within the college emphasizes the tradition of apprenticeship as faculty and students work together in small classes that allow individual instruction in ceramics, furniture design, glass, and metals and jewelry design.
All admission proceeds from Fri/Sat/Sun will go to the Gallery Council. The Gallery Council is a volunteer organization that serves the Memorial Art Gallery by organizing special events to raise funds in support of the visual arts. It is the largest single annual donor to MAG.
