Want to save the world in small but meaningful ways? Engaging with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the local level and learning how to transfer your academic skills and personal experience to solve big problems can be your first step!

Please join students from CASC 161, Building Impactful Ideas, along with URochester and community partners in addressing challenges observed in our community daily—food insecurity and climate change.

This is a unique opportunity to meet up with fellow students and engage in brainstorming, systems thinking, and idea generation while drawing on the knowledge of expert advisors.

Light refreshments and completion certificates will be provided.

Students: Please register (optional but helpful).

Faculty: Want to encourage your students to engage with the UN SDGs and tackle topics like food insecurity and climate change, perhaps by offering extra credit or another incentive for workshop participation? Please let us know!
