The one-day conference will include five presentations on global networks and local narratives. They will cover the exploration of cultural exchange, culinary practices and socio-historical dynamics across the 'Hispanidad' or the so-called Hispanic World. We'll have two presentations on Zoom - Swanson and Paredes - and a discussion-group activity after one of them. The main goal of the conference is to present an interdisciplinary view of diverse practices and cultures related to the Spanish-speaking World at different conjunctures and settings.
