Bio For Natalie Lundsteen:
Dr. Natalie Lundsteen is a Career Advisor in the Graduate School at the University of Rhode Island, with many years of experience and expertise in supporting STEM graduate students. Natalie previously was Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at TCU Burnett School of Medicine, and spent nine years as Assistant Dean for Career and Professional Development at UT Southwestern Medical Center Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
She has also advised and taught postdocs, graduate students, and alumni at Boston University, MIT, Oxford University, and Stanford University. She is a contributor to Inside Higher Ed’s weekly ‘Carpe Careers’ blog, which offers graduate/postdoc career advice every Monday, and co-author of ReSearch: A Career Guide for Scientists. Natalie is a Past President of the Graduate Career Consortium, an international organization comprised of professionals leading career and professional development for postdocs and graduate students.

Bio For Eric Vaughn:
Eric Vaughn earned a Master's degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in College Student Aiairs, from the University of South Florida in Tampa in 2003. With over 18 years of experience in career services and professional development, he has been a member of the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry Graduate Education & Postdoctoral Aiairs team since 2017. In his role, Eric coordinates career exploration and development programs for SMD trainees, including alumni career stories, career panels, resource seminars, and one-on-one advising sessions. He is an active member of the Graduate Career Consortium (GCC), volunteers on the Virtual Career Expo Committee, and is currently a member of the Community of Practice on Artificial Intelligence. Previously, Eric served as treasurer of the GCC and co-chaired the GCC's Benchmarking Committee.Â
Beyond his professional work, Eric has a passion for genealogy. In his free time, he researches his family history and serves as President of the Rochester Genealogical Society (RGS).
