This course includes two didactic online modules and participation in a two hour Zoom session including simulation of a quality improvement project.

This course offers participants the opportunity to learn the basic knowledge of effective quality improvement strategies and the ability to apply this knowledge in their own work environment.

Topics include: The “Model for Improvement, “SMART” goals and Measures that Matter, Optimal use of PDSA (“Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycles, and Strategies for overcoming obstacles and expanding deployment of worthy improvements.
