The Friends of the University of Rochester Libraries (FURL) is excited to announce an opportunity to see exceptional items from the Edward G. Miner Library at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

The tour will take place in the History of Medicine section of Miner Library. Treasures of the Miner Library include an outstanding collection of early printed anatomical books and atlases, including works by Andreas Vesalius and others; the Edward Atwater Collection of American Popular Medicine; and volumes relating to obstetrics and gynecology between the 17th and 19th centuries.  

On this tour you will not only see these rare treasures, but you will learn their historical relevance from library staff. Light refresehments will be served. The cost of admission is $25. Tours will be limited to 20 to 25 inviduals.
