Future Faculty Workshop Series for the Next Generation of Faculty: Teaching Fundamentals: Tools to Demystify Course Planning and Assessment

Instructors at all levels will be provided tools to help draft syllabi, articulate learning objectives, and design assessments to track student achievement of those objectives. Participants will develop sample course maps, test blueprints, sample rubrics, and assessment tracking maps to document progress for student learning as well as track their own teaching accomplishments.

Complimentary lunch provided. 

Designed collaboratively by faculty from each of the University's schools, this workshop series aims to prepare the next generation of faculty and to give our graduates a compettive edge in the academic marketplace. This program is sponsored by the Office of the Provost.
