Beyond the Blood: Integrating Geriatrics and Oncology in Myeloid Malignancies

The talk will review unique aspects of older adults with myeloid malignancies (e.g., acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome) including their heterogenous health, values, and prognostic understanding. We will then discuss examples of supportive and behavioral interventions to improve outcomes in this population.
