Improving Communication and Connection for People with Dementia: Tips for Interprofessional Teams and Caregivers

This presentation will discuss the changes in communication that can occur for people with various types of dementia. Evidence will be reviewed for different types of communication techniques as well as “best practices” that do not have any evidence, and conclude with recommendations for future research.
