Nutrition as Medicine

This presentation will summarize clinically relevant results of two dietary interventions recently completed at University of Rochester, one for women on treatment for metastatic breast cancer and another for adults requiring basal insulin for treatment of type 2 diabetes (T2DM). Clinical results of the two studies will be presented as well as a cost analysis of baseline, DASH, and whole food, plant-based diets.
