The talk will cover the development of an automated screening and referral intervention with the goal of connecting patients to appropriate prevention services after ED visits. Need assessment and program creation will be discussed as well as the development of an algorithm in retrospective data, transition to production data, design of computerized decision support, and regulatory issues.
