Non-Pharmacological Management of Chronic Lower Back Pain in Older Adults

Presentation will review the biopsychosocial model of lower back pain in older adults and discuss non-pharmacological management strategies.  The presentation will review the current literature and also local research in the areas of acupuncture, spinal manipulation and the role of psychosocial interventions such as Cognitive behavioral therapy in older adults.
