Spiritual Care in Older Adults

This presentation will describe the demographics of spirituality and religion in the US and consider how older adults’ spirituality can impact their experiences of chronic and/or acute illnesses. Discussion will include ways that non-spiritual care specialists can recognize and address spiritual concerns, especially spiritual distress.
