Pedaling to work or school is a one-size-fits-all activity that doesn’t require ample technical gear, intense physical training, or a “hardcore” mentality. The benefits of cycling are abundant. You can improve your overall personal health and fitness; reduce both greenhouse gas emissions and traffic congestion; and save on gas, parking and vehicle maintenance. Gain the confidence you need to bike to work or school with a series of instructional seminars throughout the riding season offered by the Department of Transportation and Parking Management and the League of American Cyclists. Seminars will be offered from noon to 1 pm. All sessions are free and open to the University Community. Guests and lunches are welcome.
