Practicing Qigong has been proven to improve mood, sleep quality and anxiety, as well as enhance the functioning of the immune system. Qigong can also help with balance, stiffness, and mild to moderate pain. Open to all Wilmot Cancer Institute patients and caregivers, the classes are structured for beginners and to accommodate those with physical limitations.

The class meets Mondays and Fridays at 1:30 p.m. (except holidays) at Gilda’s Club, 255 Alexander Street, Rochester. Register by contacting Gilda’s Club at (585) 423-9700.
