LLLLet’s get ready to Story Maaaap!
To celebrate GIS Day 2020, River Campus Libraries (RCL) is hosting a “Story Map” competition centered on the 2020 census.
The RCL is kicking off the competition and he helping participants prepare with a Census Workshop that will teach you what census data is, as well as how and why the U.S. Census Bureau collects data. If you are interested in finding data about income and poverty, business and economy, education, employment, and population, this workshop will show where you can find and download the data. You will also learn tips about creating customized tables with the census data.
Please register for the workshop in advance.
Participants must submit a story map to Blair Tinker @firstname.lastname@example.org by November 6. All participants will receive a GIS Day Participation Certificate, and the winner(s) will also receive a RCL water bottle on GIS Day.
