DESCRIPTION:Ludger Brümmer is currently Professor for Composition with Dig
 ital Media and directs the music programme of the HertzLab at the ZKM Karl
 sruhe. He studied composition (artistic maturity) at the Folkwang Hochschu
 le Essen and was Visiting Scholar at the Centre for Research in Music and 
 Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University\, USA from 1991-1993. In 2000 he 
 has been a Research Fellow at Kingston University London\, and in 2002 Pro
 fessor of Composition at the Sonic Arts Research Centre\, Belfast (SARC). 
 Since 2003 he became Director of the Institute for Music and Acoustics\, n
 ow the HertzLab\, at the ZKM | Centre for Art and Media and Visiting Profe
 ssor at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe. In 2009 he was appoin
 ted to the Academy of the Arts in Berlin and in 2017 he became a professor
