Ian Cero, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Ian Cero is a Clinical Psychologist and researches suicide prevention as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Rochester. During his internship, Dr. Cero conducted clinical and research practice specializing in trauma at the Medical University of South Carolina / Ralph Johnson V.A. Hospital. Dr. Cero will present a brief history of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), what causes a post-traumatic response, and what does and does not work in treating PTSD. Discussion will include common signs and symptoms, and how to seek the best quality of care when there is someone you’re worried about.
