Debra Ortiz-Pardi, Community Educator, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, NY
Utilizing the NetSmartz Workshop, we will discuss the ever changing world of technology and learn how we can educate, engage and empower children to be responsible digital citizens. Online risks such as posting personal or inappropriate information, online predators, cyberbullying and sexting will be addressed. We will discuss the use of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Skype and Smartphones and learn how we can help children and teens to safely navigate their online life.
