Health Bites: Minimalism

Feeling overwhelmed by clutter and obligations at home or at work? Finding it difficult to maintain a work/life/family balance? Do you have closets and dressers filled with clothes but nothing to wear? When things in life aren't adding up, start subtracting. Learn how minimalism can help you take back your power, do more with less, save money, and improve your ability to determine between needs from wants. Presenter Amy Cavalier is an advocate of the Buy Nothing movement in Monroe County and former leader of the Rochester Minimalists. Presented by Amy Cavalier.

It shifted my perspective on how to approach items and gifts. Looking forward to trying some of the strategies suggested - for example when I get a package, fill up the empty box with items to dispose of.

This was a great session. The slides were fun and the presentation was interesting. It was not at all overwhelming like some of the info on cleaning out clutter can be.

I found all the ideas and information the presenter gave was informative. I've been trying to get rid of my clutter for a year now, it's has been quite overwhelming. I was happy to hear that she has gone through the same problem as I am right now. It was a great presentation. Thank you.
