Rosalind Carter once said, "There are only four kinds of people in the world: those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will becaregivers, and those who will need caregivers." Lifespan of Greater Rochester is a regional nonprofit dedicated to providing information, guidance and services for older adults and caregivers. I compare what we do to when you needed a travel agent to plan your trip to another country because you didn’t know the terrain. Eldercare/caregiving and long-term care is much like that. You often need a guide who knows the terrain. The presenter, Mary Rose McBride, is VP Marketing/ Communications at Lifespan. She has 29 years of experience in the field as well as personal experience as a caregiving daughter. She will provide an overview of Lifespan’s services.
