Significant advances have been made in the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure in the past several years. Implementing these advances into practice is a professional gap. Heart failure includes not just patients with systolic dysfunction but also patients with diseases such as sarcoidosis and amyloidosis. Cardiology providers, in particular heart failure practitioners, are in an excellent position to manage these patients and educate other providers on the management of these patients.
