About this Event
Highland Family Medicine is hosting a virtual event to discuss a new development in the Family Nurse Practitioner Residency program: the expansion to a rural track.
In collaboration with the University of Rochester School of Nursing, Highland Family Medicine is developing a robust curriculum to prepare FNPs for rural and urban practice. Highland Family Medicine is currently recruiting two FNP graduates to live and practice in the Tri-County community and two FNP residents to practice at Highland Family Medicine. The expanded rural practice setting is in partnership with Tri-County Family Medicine who has headquarters in Dansville, NY.
The expansion of the program is possible thanks to the Advanced Nursing Education Nurse Practitioner Residency Integration Program grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration.
