Kelly Unsworth, MS, CCRP, CIP, Director of Research Education & Training in the Office for Human Subject Protection will present 'Building from Basics: Informed Consent - Planning Your Process'.
This seminar is the second in a 'mini series' on informed consent provided through the University of Rochester Human Research Protection Program (UR-HRPP) Educational Forum. The session will building on the regulatory and institutional requirements reviewed during the initial 11/12/2020 session and review important considerations that should be taken into account while planning for consent during the protocol development process, including considerations pertaining to e-consent. Attendance at the 11/12/2020 seminar is not required to participate, though the recording of the 11/12/2020 session is available to University faculty/staff/students via Blackboard for those wishing to review the presentation prior to attendance (instructions for accessing the recording are available here).
Continuing education credit/certifications of attendance will be available.
