Empire Discovery Institute (EDI) is an integrated drug discovery and development accelerator, formed as an equal partnership between the University of Rochester, the University at Buffalo, and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.  EDI and Novo Nordisk have formed an alliance, called LeapRx, which funds novel, incubates and accelerates drug discovery research in the areas of diabetes (type 1, type 2), obesity, cardiovascular disease, NASH, chronic kidney disease, and rare blood disorders. We are looking for new research projects to fund.  

LeapRx will be hosting an information session on Thursday, Feb. 9 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  During this session, we will also highlight one of the current LeapRx research programs with Dr. Peng Yao.
