About this Event
Presenters: Martha Mock, Michael McCarthy, & Mary Judge Diegert
This research study (scoping review) examined a decade of literature since the inception of the 2008 Higher Education Opportunity Act as it pertains to inclusive higher education (IHE) environments for students labeled with an intellectual disability. This study sought to address what these environments look like, to determine whether and how students with ID are being involved in campus life, and to identify the level of expectations that various student, academic, and professional stakeholders have for students with ID as it relates to their involvement on campus.
