It's Time to Talk: Spectrum of Sexual Violence

The URMC Social Work Professional Development Committee is pleased to announce the Third Annual Social Work Conference, It's Time to Talk: Spectrum of Sexual Violence.

The experience of sexual trauma which includes sexual assault, rape and molestation can lead to long-lasting, sometimes devastating impacts on the physical, mental, and emotional health of survivors.  This year’s URMC Social Work Conference will explore the short and long term effects of sexual trauma on teens and adults and explain how health care providers and community agencies help survivors live with their past and face their future.
