Koru Basic is a 4 session course that will teach you the skill of mindfulness. This offering of the class is specifically targeted to first-year students and is designed to help you learn strategies for managing stress, focusing your mind, and finding more joy and self-compassion. You'll learn breathing skills and other mindfulness meditation practices that you can use to keep yourself centered as you navigate your first year of college. You'll get more out of the experience if you stick with it from beginning to end, so attendance at all 4 sessions is expected.
