The Paul J. Burgett Intercultural Center presents our Spring 2024 Lorri L. Jean and Darrel Cummings LGBTQ Leadership Lecture Series featuring Kris Hayashi on February 21, 2024 at 6pm. This event will be in-person in the Feldman Ballroom in Frederick Douglass Commons. Dinner is provided by Salena's Mexican Restaurant.
Kris Hayashi, Director of Advocacy and Action for the National LGBTQ Task Force, an organization that for over 50 years has built power, taken action, and created change to achieve freedom, justice, and equity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people. Prior to this role, Kris was the Former Executive Director at the Transgender Law Center. Kris Hayashi has over 20 years of movement building, leadership and organizing experience. As a public transgender person of color, Kris has been a leader in movements for justice and rights for transgender and gender nonconforming communities for over a decade.
