Explore the studied practice of mindfulness with Dr. Patricia Luck (see biography below) through a course designed to cultivate greater resilience and wellbeing. Discover how meditation can help provide more balance, stability, and satisfaction in eight 2-hour weekly in-person sessions at the Center for Community Health and Prevention, 46 Prince Street Rochester NY, 14607 and a full-day retreat offsite.
Please be sure that you can commit to these weekly classes that include meditation practice, informal teaching time, and group discussions. Attendance is crucial and will support your growing capacity for present minded awareness. To reinforce the learning of the course content we require participants to do home meditation practices daily throughout the course. Research shows that the benefits of this program are directly linked to the frequency of home practice.
