Clean, consistent data is critical for analysis and visualization, and data transformation can be complex and time-consuming. Lucky for you, there are tools that make this process quicker and more reproducible!

In this hands-on session, data librarian Heather Owen and reproducibility librarian Sarah Siddiqui will teach you the basics of batch-cleaning messy data with OpenRefine, an open-source tool designed to efficiently clean and transform data with no programming required! Please download and install OpenRefine before the workshop.

Please register to receive the Zoom link and workshop materials. If you require any accommodations to fully participate in this event, please contact Sarah Siddiqui at ssiddiqui@library.rochester.edu.

This event is part of Love Data Month 2024. Please visit our webpage to learn more about our other events.
