Lunch & Listen: Daniel Kuehler, piano

Eastman alum Dr. Daniel Kuehler, piano

A special lunchtime musical "call in" show for URMC clinical workers - Eastman Performing Arts Medicine musicians will play live from their homes, taking requests and offering music to help you unwind or gear up.

This week's artist is Dan Kuehler, piano,, who will share music from light clasical to well-loved piano literature, with surprising tiwsts like Bohemian Rhapsody (yes, this was requested in January when he was a guest and it was incredible!).  Dr. Kuehler is a recent graduate of the Eastman School (DMA '20), earning his doctorate in piano performance and literature. A resident in St. Louis, he is a church musician, piano teacher and is actively seeking his first job in higher education. Daniel has promised us a litle surprise from the John Williams series to coincide with "May the Fourth by with you" day....

Join us at any time during your lunch break, listen in and make a request of the artist.

This new series is sponsored by the Office of Patient Experience.

I was very happy to 'stumble' upon this concert and plan to come back again next week. Being off-site, this makes me feel included in the University/hospital events

Awesome experience with the music. I wish it was captioned(for deaf/hard of hearing folks) for what the pianist or anyone else was saying, and it would be nice to see visually the name of the song played.
