The Me Too Monologues is an all student written show about identity. All monologues were submitted anonymously and will be presented on stage by our performers. Using the platform of socially conscious theater, the Me Too Monologues at the University of Rochester strives to create a space for productive discussions about identity and structural oppressions, to educate the community about issues facing minority populations on our campus, and to increase awareness of and compassion for our fellow community members and their stories. Me Too Monologues at the University of Rochester will work with diverse campus organizations to produce a show that best represents our student body, and to assert that, whatever challenges we face, we do not face them alone.
All proceeds from ticket sales and fundraising efforts will be donated to a local Rochester organization working towards equality in our community. Presented by College Feminists.
