The Institute for the Family's MS in Marriage and Family Therapy prepares graduates for careers as licensed MFTs in traditional mental health settings. In addition, our trainees leave with competencies in medical family therapy and experience in integrated healthcare situations. We emphasize a relational/ systemic and biopsychosocial framework across the lifespan that is culturally- attuned and invites self-of-the-therapist reflection.
