DESCRIPTION:Serving as the lead study team for multisite research with an E
 xception from Informed Consent (EFIC) waiver can be a challenging prospect
 \, even for the most seasoned researcher. Lisa Rigtrup\, BS\, CIP\,  Kammy
  Jacobsen\,  Lindsey Martineau\, and Ryane Sorenson from the University of
  Utah IRB and Utah Data Coordinating Center will join us to discuss their 
 experiences collaborating to launch EFIC research at sites across the coun
 try using single IRB (SIRB) oversight. The presenters will discuss innovat
 ions\, lessons learned\, and experiences from the perspective of the SIRB 
 staff\, IRB board members\, and lead study coordinators related to the SIR
 B review and participating site startup process for EFIC research.\n\n###\
 n\nThis event\,  hosted by the Trial Innovation Network\, is made availabl
 e to the University of Rochester community via the UR Clinical and Transla
 tional Science Institute.
