The Interfaith Chapel of Strong Memorial Hospital will host live music every Thursday from 4pm-5pm. Visitors, staff, and patients are welcome to come and go during these weekly concerts. Our musicians will share about their instruments and the music they are playing. The chapel is located on the first floor near the Miner Library. Follow signs for the Orange elevators to locate the chapel.

Thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, we also offer these concerts on the patient TV system on Channel 1 live-streamed from the Chapel.

January artists include Ken Luk, guitar (Jan 8); Bob Pizzutiello, chapman stick (Jan 15); Celleccino Cello Duo (Jan 22); Kenneth Kam, guitar (Jan 29).

February artists include Kenneth Kam, guitar (Feb 5); Dr. Jennifer Kyker, mbira (Feb 12); Ken Luk, guitar (Feb 19 and 26).

Eastman Performing Arts Medicine Center (EPAM) has offered live music in lobby spaces at URMC since 2019. During the week, visitors, staff, and patients can find artists playing in the main lobby and in the coffee shop location between the green and red elevators on the first floor. All artists are trained by the EPAM program to choose music that is appropriate to the environment, and all are professional artists.

These events are created in collaboration with the Office of the Patient Experience, Chaplaincy Services at Strong Memorial Hospital, and the Friends of Strong Foundation.
