The School of Nursing is partnering with Eastman Performing Arts Medicine to offer midday music for the benefit and wellness of the SON community. Each Monday from May 16 through September 12, a different artist or ensemble will present an hour of relaxing, restorative music in the Evarts Lounge or the lovely SON Courtyard, weather permitting. 

All SON community members are welcome to bring their lunch, sit and stay a while. Unlike formal concerts, the artists are aware that people will come and go, will be eating lunch and having conversation with colleagues. 

May 16 - Chihiro Kakashima, violin, and I-Hsiang Chao, piano

May 23 - Anthony LaLena, guitar  (no event on May 30 due to holiday)

June 6 - Annie Chen, violin, adn Kevin Wang, piano

June 13 - The Rochester Mandolin Orchestra led by Ken Luk  (no event June 20 due to holiday)

June 27 - Sandy Gianniny, folk harp   (no event July 4 due to holiday)

July 11 - Rob Varon jazz trio

July 18 - Lynn McGrath, ukuele - Lynn will be bringing ukuleles for anyone to learn a simple chord and play along!

July 25 - Jennifer Kyker, mbira ensemble

August 1 - Kevin Wang, piano

August 8 - Lynn McGrath, classical guitar

August 15 - Jimmie Highsmith, Jr

August 22 - Sean Mulligan, viola and Kevin Lee, piano

August 29 - Patrick Peralta, guitar   (no event Sept 5 due to holiday)

September 12 - Anthony LaLena and Bernardo Rodrigues, guitar duo
