About this Event
View mapThis lunch-and-learn workshop will give you information about health and injury prevention for your back, bones, and joints while you're hard at work.
We'll address musculoskeletal (“ortho/movement”) health for employees — covering bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and how they impact movement and work.
This workshop emphasizes prevention and risk‐reduction, not just treatment after injury.
Employees start with a screening called “Movement Metrics” which uses imaging & functional testing (posture, balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance) to assess movement risk factors.
Led by Mersadie Dibbell, a licensed and board-certified athletic trainer with a Master of Science in Advanced Clinical Practice in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University. She currently serves as Head Outreach Athletic Trainer for Churchville-Chili High School through the University of Rochester Medical Center, where she provides comprehensive medical coverage, orthopedic management, and employee health screenings focused on injury prevention and wellness.
In addition to her clinical work, Mersadie is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Athletic Training at East Stroudsburg University, where she helps guide graduate students through coursework in research, pharmacology, and pathomechanics of musculoskeletal disorders.
