National Eating Disorders Awareness Week: Open Mic Event at Boulder Coffee

During this time of year, Western NY Comprehensive Care Center (WNYCCCED) works to educate the community about eating disorders and the importance of prevention and early intervention, emphasizing that recovery is possible.

As part of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, the WNYCCCED  is hosting an annual Open Mic Event at Boulder Coffee. It includes raffles, music, and open microphone opportunities for people in recovery to share their literary and musical talents. The WNYCCCED is a partnership between the University's School of Nursing and the Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders Program at the Golisano Children's Hosptial.

Donations support eating disorder prevention, early intervention, education and treatment.
