Mya was a strong leader on the Nazareth Field Hockey team from 2017-2021. She was a bright light on the team, incredible role model for younger players, and had hoped to coach field hockey in the future. 

Sadly, Mya passed away on August 11, 2023, and Nazareth Field Hockey is raising funds in her honor to support melanoma research at Wilmot Cancer Institute. 

In addition, Nazareth Field Hockey is dedicating its game on Saturday, October 3, in remembrance of Mya as an outstanding person, player, daughter, student, and friend. She loved the game of field hockey, and Nazareth Field Hockey hopes to see you there to honor her memory.
