Neilly Author Series: Edmund A. Hajim '58

Ed Hajim ’58, financier, philanthropist, and chairman emeritus of the University of Rochester Board of Trustees, will share stories and lessons from his inspirational and powerful new book, On the Road Less Traveled: An Unlikely Journey from the Orphanage to the Boardroom. Hajim’s memoir chronicles his journey from foster homes and orphanages to living the American dream as an accomplished Wall Street executive and family man. Join Hajim for this compelling session on overcoming hardship and struggle, the value of education in changing one’s life, and becoming a leader in all aspects of life. Dean Wendi Heinzelman will moderate a conversation with Hajim after his talk about the lessons he learned and what he hopes others can learn from his experiences.

Presented by the River Campus Libraries and Office of Alumni Relations as part of the Neilly Author Series.
