This workshop highlights the importance of networking from day one, emphasizing connections with classmates, alumni, and class speakers. Participants will learn to find and connect with individuals who share their values and enthusiasm in the field, expanding their network through these connections. Additionally, participants will be guided in conducting informational meetings and interviews, which can often lead to job referrals, interviews, and offers. The Warner School's Office for Student Success, in partnership with the Higher Education program, offers this new professional development workshop series focused on engaging students in exploring how they are, what they may become, and how to get there by employing a variety of strategies. Through this series of workshops, participants will develop the skills necessary to create compelling professional portfolios and effectively introduce themselves to industry professionals.
