myHub is excited to host a Career Story with Harl Tolbert and provide SMD trainees the opportunity to learn more about the internship and employment opportunities available through the technology transfer office, URVentures. This program is part of the myHub Industry, Manufacturing and Entrepreneurship career pathway.

UR Ventures role at the University of Rochester is to protect, develop and commercialize the intellectual property arising from the research and work being conducted by the institution’s students, postdocs and faculty. Harl Tolbert will share his role and experiences working in tech transfer and what opportunities are available for those with an advanced degree within this important area.
