About this Event
Pancreatic cancer accounts for 3 percent of all cancer cases in the US, but is one of the most fatal cancers with only an 11 percent five-year survival rate. There is currently research being done at Wilmot Cancer Institute to help increse the success of treatment for pancreatic cancer patients. Join Dr. Darren Carpiso and Ms. Mary Ellen Smith as we learn about the basics of pancreatic cancer, the risks of getting it, and current research underway to improve outcomes. Take part in a facilitated Q & A session to have all your questions answered.
