Join us for the 63rd season of the Plutzik Reading Series with author Robyn Schiff. She will read from her recent works, answer questions and sign copies of her books, which will be available for purchase. 

Schiff is the author of four collections of poetry, including the volume Information Desk: An Epic (Penguin, 2023), which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award, and was awarded the Four Quartets Prize of the Poetry Society of America. She is also the author of the poetry collections A Woman of Property (2016), which was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and named a best book of the year by The New Yorker and the Chicago Tribune, and a New York Times editor’s choice; Revolver (2008), a finalist for the PEN Award, and Worth (2002). A recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, Schiff co-edits the independent poetry press Canarium Books and she is a professor at the University of Chicago, where she is Director of the Program in Creative Writing.

The Plutzik Reading Series is one of the longest running in the country. It is always offered free of charge and is open to the public.
