Rodrigo Fresán is the author of ten novels, including Kensington Gardens, Mantra, The Bottom of the Sky, and the trilogy, The Invented Part, The Dreamed Part, and The Remembered Part, the latter five titles all published or forthcoming from Open Letter Books. His works incorporate many elements from science fiction (Philip K. Dick in particular) alongside pop culture and literary references ranging from 2001: A Space Odyssey to Pink Floyd to The Kinks to the works of Vladimir Nabokov and Fitzgerald’s Tender Is the Night. According to Jonathan Lethem, "he's a kaleidoscopic, open-hearted, shamelessly polymathic storyteller, the kind who brings a blast of oxygen into the room." Co-sponsored by Open Letter Books.
