Reginald Dwayne Betts presents “Felon: An Incorrect Spelling of My Name?”
A poet and memoirist, Reginald Dwayne Betts is the recipient of a 2019 Creative Writing Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. He is the author of Bastards of the Reagan Era, A Question of Freedom, and Shahid Reads His Own Palm. His audiobook Felon will be released in October by Simon & Schuster.
Betts holds a JD from the Yale Law School, an MFA from Warren Wilson College’s program for writers, and a BA from the University of Maryland and is currently a PhD candidate at Yale Law School. He is a husband and the father of two sons.
Betts will also take part in the AS&E Deans’ Conversation on Topical Challenges on September 11.
