About this Event
Hoyt Hall, Rochester
#election2024The Frederick Douglass Institute and Department of Black Studies hosts a Town Hall to discuss issues of race, gender, and politics in the 2024 Presidential Election Cycle. Bringing together a panel of scholars in Black Studies to discuss the role of race and gender in the election, followed by dialogue between student-faculty-staff--we hope to create space for a more layered understanding of the election--especially as it involved the First Black Woman Presidential Major-Party Candidate.
