Practical Approaches to Assessing and Applying Medical Education Evidence
To register: https://forms.gle/JL5tPxgFJn4YqUZE7
We all want to be evidence-based educators drawing on the best evidence to inform our activities with learners in the classroom and clinic. But with more than 35 million articles in PubMed, over six million in ERIC, and no single information source dedicated to medical education this can be daunting. This session will introduce nontraditional information resources, information management tools, and synthesized resources for use in practice. We will also discuss opportunities and strategies for applying educational evidence in practice.
Learning Objectives:
• Identify new information resources
• Discuss the pros/cons of synthesized information resources
• Describe strategies for applying educational evidence in practice
Open to all UR Faculty, Staff, and Students | Light Lunch provided
